Yingda Lawyers Invited to Attend the 2013 Asian Competition Law Association Conference in Seoul, South Korea

On September 6, 2013, the Asian Competition Law Association held its annual meeting and academic symposium in Seoul, South Korea. Lawyer Li Ming was invited to participate in the conference.

The conference consisted of four parts, focusing on topics such as competition law enforcement agencies, trends in the regulation of cartels, the latest developments in the economic perspective of business concentration, and the abuse of market dominance from a global perspective. Approximately 70 participants, including officials from competition law enforcement agencies, scholars, and lawyers from countries such as South Korea, China, Japan, the United States, and Australia attended the event. Representatives from the Supreme Court of Korea, the Korea Fair Trade Commission, the Japan Fair Trade Commission, the Ministry of Commerce of China, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China, as well as representatives from Wuhan University, East China University of Political Science and Law, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Law Institute, and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics participated in the conference.

Established in 2008, the Asian Competition Law Association aims to promote the development and diffusion of competition law culture in Asia through non-governmental international exchanges and cooperation in the field of competition law and policy. This conference marked the sixth annual meeting organized by the Asian Competition Law Association and was co-sponsored by the Korea Academic Society of Industrial Organization, Korea Competition Forum, Korea Competition Law Association, and Korea Economic Law Association.
